Alex: So, what do you do for a living?

Contestant: I'm actually a theologian.

Alex: [sighs] Alright, what do you want to tell me about?

Contestant: Well, I was going to give you a summary of the Bible chapter by chapter.

Alex: [visibly frustrated] Oh, no. Not again. Well, go ahead then.

Contestant: Sure. Psalm 86 is a prayer to God asking Him to show mercy and grace to the petitioner. The psalmist acknowledges God's greatness and his compassion, and asks that God would hear his pleas and save him from his enemies. The psalmist also promises to praise and worship God forever in return for His mercies.
