Peter: Alright, folks, it's time for our summary of the Bible - Luke 14!

Lois: So, what happens in this chapter?

Peter: Well, Jesus is at a dinner and he gives a few parables. One is about how people should take the lowest seat at the table, so that when others come, they can be invited up higher.

Brian: Sounds like a real bummer way to party.

Peter: Then he tells a parable about a great banquet, where the host invites people who don't show up. So, the host sends out his servants to invite more people.

Stewie: Sounds like a great idea! I'm sure it's going to be a wild night.

Peter: Then he says people should be careful about making excuses for not wanting to come to the banquet, because there might be others who actually will come and take their spot.

Joe: Wow, that is a really good point.

Peter: Finally, Jesus gives a parable about a man who builds a tower, but stops halfway through because he realizes he doesn't have enough money to finish it.

Quagmire: That's a pretty depressing ending.

Peter: Yep, that's Luke 14!
