Lois: So, what about Luke 13?

Peter: Ah, right. This chapter is all about Jesus teaching in a synagogue and then dealing with some hecklers.

Stewie: What did he say?

Peter: Well, he talked about how people should repent and that no matter how late they are, they can still be saved. Then he healed a woman who had been crippled for 18 years.

Brian: That's amazing!

Peter: Yeah, it was pretty cool. Then he said some stuff about how the Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed, and how it's like yeast that a woman hid in flour.

Stewie: Sounds like a metaphor for how the world works.

Peter: The chapter ends with Jesus telling a parable about a fig tree, about how it's a waste of time to wait for fruit from it if it's not producing.

Lois: Interesting. So what's the moral of the story?

Peter: I guess it's that you should take action and not waste time.
