Lois: Okay, so in Luke 21 we've got Jesus predicting the destruction of Jerusalem.

Peter: Wait a minute, wasn't that in the movie Independence Day?

Lois: No, Peter, that was aliens.

Peter: Oh, right. Anyway, Jesus is warning about the destruction of Jerusalem and he's telling the disciples to watch out for false prophets.

Stewie: Hey, like that guy from the Muppets, Dr. Teeth?

Lois: No, Stewie, that's a different kind of false prophet. Jesus is talking about people who are claiming to be prophets, but are really just out to deceive people.

Brian: So then Jesus tells the disciples that they need to be prepared for when they are arrested and persecuted.

Peter: Yeah, it's like that time I got arrested for stealing a car, only Jesus is saying it's gonna be worse.

Lois: Right. And he's also telling them not to worry, because God will be with them.

Stewie: Like when Spock said, "Live long and prosper"?

Lois: No, Stewie, that was a Vulcan phrase. Jesus is saying that God will be with them in the midst of their hardship.
