Listen, Jack. Folks, I'm not joking. Here's the deal: in Luke 21, Jesus is talking about the end of the world. C'mon, man, it's terrifying! He says there will be wars and rumors of wars, and nations will rise against one another. My father used to say, "When you see these things happening, you know the end is near!" See here, Jack, it's literally gonna be like nothing we've ever seen before. There will be famines, earthquakes, and plagues. What was that? Oh, and Jesus warns us about false prophets and false messiahs who will try to lead us astray. Or, uh, you know, don't believe them. Not gonna happen.

And then Jesus goes on to say that there will be great signs in the heavens and on earth, but I tell you what, they won't be enough. He says the end will come like a thief in the night. Excuse me, but that doesn't sound good. So Jesus tells us to be alert and ready, because no one knows the hour or day when it will all happen. Literally, it's something that happened a long time ago, but it still applies today. So keep your eyes open and remember: no malarkey!
