Hey folks! Listen, Jack, this chapter in the Bible is about Jesus and his mission. C'mon, man! Jesus starts off in the synagogue in Nazareth and reads from a scroll. He reads aloud from Isaiah, and everyone is astonished by his words. My father used to say, "A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver." See here, Jack? That's just what Jesus did. Then he says, "Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing," and everyone is amazed.

But not everyone is happy with Jesus' words. Some of the people actually try to throw him off a cliff! Or uh, you know, maybe they were just trying to test him. But Jesus goes right on, no malarkey! He goes to Capernaum and starts teaching there. He heals a man with an unclean spirit, and the people are amazed.

Then, Jesus goes to the synagogue and reads from a scroll. He says the same thing he said in Nazareth: "Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing." But this time, the people are not happy. They get angry and try to throw him out of town. But Jesus is like, "No way, not gonna happen!" and he escapes. Here's the deal: Jesus was literally carrying out his mission to spread the word of God, no matter what. I'm not joking. What was that? Oh, excuse me. Jesus was doing God's will. That's the truth.
