Listen, Jack, I'm not gonna lie to you, the story of the Prodigal Son, found in Luke 15, is one of the most powerful and meaningful stories you'll ever hear. It's a story about a father who loves his son, no matter what.

Now, I'm not joking, c'mon man, this father had two boys, and one of them decides to take his inheritance and leave home. What was that? He takes off, literally, and goes and blows it all on partying and gambling. I tell ya, that's no malarkey.

But here's the deal, folks-- this father still loves his son and misses him dearly. My father used to say, "love never fails." So, what does the father do? He keeps watch over the horizon, looking for his son's return.

And sure enough, one day, the son comes back, with tail between his legs, and asks for forgiveness. The father doesn't hesitate-- he rushes to his son and embraces him, welcoming him home with love and joy. See here, Jack, this is a powerful story of unconditional love and forgiveness.

Now, I want to be perfectly clear. I'm not saying that the father condoned his son's behavior. But he did accept him and forgive him, and I think that's a beautiful message we can all learn from. Or uh, you know, it's worth thinking about.

So, excuse me, I tell you what-- no matter what happens, never forget the power of love and forgiveness. That's the message of Luke 15. That's not gonna happen.
