Alex Trebek: Alright, so tell me a little bit about yourself.

Contestant: Well, Alex, I'd like to start by summarizing Luke 15 of the Bible.

Alex Trebek: [Sigh] Alright, if you insist. What does it say?

Contestant: Luke 15 tells the parable of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son. In the parable of the lost sheep, a shepherd leaves his flock of 99 to search for the one that has gone astray. In the parable of the lost coin, a woman searches for a coin she has lost, and when she finds it, she rejoices. In the parable of the prodigal son, a father welcomes his son home, who had gone away and wasted all his money. The father rejoices, and shows mercy and grace to his son.

Alex Trebek: [Rolls eyes] Interesting. Is there anything else?

Contestant: Yes, the parables are meant to show us that God is willing to forgive us, no matter how far we have strayed.

Alex Trebek: [Sighs] Alright then. Let's move on.
