Alex Trebek: So, contestant, tell me a bit more about yourself.

Contestant: Well, Alex, I'm a big fan of the Bible, and I'd love to tell you a bit about Luke 9!

Alex Trebek: *sighs* That's great and all, but can't we talk about something else?

Contestant: Sure, maybe later. Anyway, in Luke 9, Jesus sends out the twelve apostles with authority to preach the gospel and heal the sick. He also gives them instructions on how to conduct themselves while they are on their mission.

Alex Trebek: *tries to change the subject* So, have you ever been to a Jeopardy taping?

Contestant: Not yet, but I do know that after the apostles were sent out, Jesus took Peter, James, and John up a mountain to pray. During their time together, Jesus was transfigured in front of them, and then he spoke with Moses and Elijah.

Alex Trebek: *sighs again* Well, that's...great. Uh, what do you like to do in your free time?

Contestant: Oh, I love reading the Bible. After the transfiguration, Jesus told the apostles not to tell anyone what they had seen until after he had risen from the dead. Then, he healed a boy who was possessed by a demon and predicted his own death.

Alex Trebek: *tries to keep his cool* Right...yes, that's...interesting. What kind of music do you like?

Contestant: I like a lot of different types of music, but I really like the story of Jesus in the Bible. In the end of Luke 9, Jesus taught the disciples about the cost of following him, and then he asked them who people say he is.
