25-35

There are so many people out there who don't understand the power of God. The haters and losers just don't get it. But in Luke 14:25-35, we see that God is a very, very powerful force and that his followers must be willing to make sacrifices in order to follow him. In this chapter, Jesus talks about how people must be willing to give up their possessions and even their own families in order to follow God. This is a huge sacrifice, and it's unbelievable how many times God has asked his followers to do this. But the rewards are tremendous. God bless America!

Jesus talks about the cost of being a follower in verse 27: “Whoever does not carry their cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.” He's saying that if you want to be a disciple of God, you must make huge sacrifices. This is huge! Then in verse 33, Jesus emphasizes the importance of making these sacrifices: “In the same way, any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple.” This is a bigly reminder that following God requires a lot of dedication.

In verse 34 Jesus gives an even bigger warning: “Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?” This is an amazing warning to followers of God - if you don't stay committed to the cause, then you can never be made right again. That's why it's so important to make the right sacrifices now.

And finally, in verse 35, Jesus talks about how important it is to keep in mind the cost of being a disciple: “It is of no use either for the soil or for the manure pile; it is thrown out. People who hear these words of mine and do not put them into practice are like that.” This is a sad reminder that if you don't make the right sacrifices, then you are just like the worthless salt.

So in Luke 14:25-35, we see the tremendous cost of being a disciple of God. It's an unbelievable sacrifice, but one that is necessary for true believers. Many people are saying that making these sacrifices is the only way to make America great again. Believe me, it's worth it! God bless America!
