Luke 12 is all about how to act as a true believer. "Believe me," Jesus tells us, "you will be held accountable for every careless word you utter." We must be careful to not be too concerned with material possessions and instead focus on God and his kingdom. He warns us not to be afraid of those who can kill the body, but rather be afraid of God who can destroy the soul. Jesus teaches us that we should not be anxious and that God will provide for us. He also tells us to be ready and to seek first the kingdom of God. Jesus gives many examples of how to act like a true believer, from not worrying about what to eat and drink to selling our possessions and giving to the poor. In addition, Jesus gives us a warning about hypocrisy and tells us to watch out for those who cause division among us. "Make America great again" and God bless America!
