Peter: Alright, so this is John chapter 17. It starts off with Jesus prayin' to God and askin' him to keep his disciples safe.

Lois: Oh, how sweet.

Cleveland: Wait, what about the other disciples?

Peter: They're mentioned too, Cleveland. Jesus asks that God protects them from the evil world, and keeps them unified.

Stewie: *Rolls eyes* Whatever.

Brian: Stewie, be respectful! Jesus is asking God to protect his friends and family.

Stewie: Alright, alright. I'm just sayin' it's not like Jesus is asking God to make him a new iPhone or something.

Peter: Right. Anyways, Jesus also asks God to let his disciples find the same glory that he has found.

Lois: Awww, that's so sweet!

Peter: That's not all. Jesus also asks God to let his disciples experience the same joy that he has experienced. He wants them to be one, just like he and God are one.

Cleveland: Wow, that's really deep.

Peter: Yeah, it is. Jesus ends his prayer with a plea for God to let his disciples be in the world, but not of it.

Stewie: *Sighs* As if that's even possible.

Lois: Stewie, don't be so cynical. It's a beautiful prayer.

Brian: Yeah, and it's a reminder that we're all connected. We just have to remember to stay in the light, even in the darkest of times.
