Peter: Alright, so 2 Chronicles 8 starts off with Solomon building a fleet of ships in Ezion-Geber, which is near Elath in Edom, and then he sends his servants with the ships to Ophir to get gold.

Lois: Wow, sounds like Solomon was really trying to expand his horizons.

Stewie: Yeah, and then he does all kinds of other crazy stuff like building store cities in Hamath and Tadmor, and then he builds chariot cities in Jerusalem and Megiddo.

Brian: Wait, what do chariot cities even mean?

Peter: I'm not sure, but I think it's like a city that has lots of chariots, which are like horses with wheels.

Lois: Ah, okay.

Stewie: And then he builds a palace in Jerusalem and all these other cities, and then he gets even more gold and silver and precious stones.

Brian: Sounds like he was really living the high life.

Peter: Yeah, and then he goes off to war with the Philistines and defeats them, and then he sets up judges and officers in all the cities he conquered.

Lois: So he was really consolidating his power.

Stewie: Yeah, and then he goes back to Jerusalem and sets up a bunch of religious festivals.

Brian: Oh man, I can just imagine all the Friends and Seinfeld reruns he was watching during those festivals.

Peter: Yeah, it was definitely a wild time.
