Peter: Alright, so in 2 Chronicles 28, Ahaz, the king of Judah, was wicked and didn't follow God. So God allowed the king of Syria and the king of Israel to attack Jerusalem, and they took away a bunch of people and a lot of stuff.

Lois: Wow, that sounds like a real bummer.

Brian: Yeah, I can't believe Ahaz was so stupid. He should have known better than to go against God.

Stewie: I like the part where they took away all the stuff. That reminds me of when I tried to steal all the free samples at Costco.

Peter: Yeah, that was a wild ride. Anyway, after they attacked Judah, they also attacked other cities and destroyed them.

Joe: Yeah, it's always a shame when people don't take God's word seriously.

Quagmire: That reminds me of the time I tried to pick up chicks at church.

Peter: Anyway, Ahaz repented and God was merciful and didn't fully punish Judah. But it was a reminder to everyone that God is serious about His word and that we should be careful not to disobey Him.

Lois: That's a good lesson for us all.

Stewie: Yes, I'm sure God would probably be just as forgiving if I tried to steal the free samples again.
