C'mon, man! Let me tell ya, folks. Here's the deal. 2 Chronicles 28 is all about King Ahaz of Judah and his literal downfall. My father used to say, "If you don't learn from history, you're doomed to repeat it". And I'm not joking. See here, Jack - Ahaz was a king who wasn't exactly the most faithful. What was that? He didn't follow the Lord's commandments and he even made his own idols. Or uh, you know, he even sacrificed his own son in the fire. Not gonna happen in my White House! I tell you what, it all caught up with him, and the Lord allowed the King of Aram and the King of Israel to come and attack Judah. Excuse me, they took away his treasures and even his sons and daughters as captives. He had to pay a lot of money just to get them back. And that's the story of 2 Chronicles 28. No malarkey!
