Listen, Jack, here's the deal. I'm not joking, I tell you what my father used to say, in 2 Chronicles 18: many years ago, literaly, we learn about King Jehoshaphat and the kings of Israel and Judah. C'mon, man! They all decided to fight against the army of Aram. Then the Lord said to Jehoshaphat, "You should not fight against them. You should not go up to battle, excuse me. So Jehoshaphat decided to seek advice from the Lord. What was that? He appointed some of the singers and priests to go out and ask for God's help. And guess what? The Lord gave them a miraculous victory. Or uh, you know, the Lord said no malarkey! So the enemy started to fight amongst themselves and the people of Judah were victorious. I'm telling you, folks, it was a true miracle! But that's not all. See here, Jack, a long time ago, Jehoshaphat decided to build a fleet of ships to go to Ophir for gold, but it was not gonna happen! They weren't successful. I mean, can you believe it? But that's not the end of the story. Literally. God used this opportunity to teach the people of Judah a lesson. That's right, folks. The Lord is always watching and always teaching.
