Listen, Jack, c'mon, man! This is the deal: here in the book of 2 Chronicles, chapter 35, we read that King Josiah celebrated the Passover in Jerusalem. Literally, it was the most awesome Passover in the history of the nation of Israel. My father used to say that it was even more awesome than the one celebrated by King Hezekiah! I'm not joking. Folks, it was a huge celebration with a ton of sacrifices and special offerings. See here, Jack: the priests and Levites were prepared, the Passover lamb was cooked, and the people were ready to celebrate. What was that? Oh yeah, and Josiah gave out all the silver, gold and other items they'd collected from the temple and the palace to be used for the Passover. Or uh, you know, he gave out the items to support the priests and Levites as they performed their duties.

And here's the deal: no malarkey! Josiah wanted to make sure that the Passover celebration was done just like the way the Lord commanded Moses. So he made sure all the priests and Levites were holy, and the people of Israel followed all the instructions of the Lord. Then, the people celebrated for seven days, and when the celebration was over, the people went back to their homes. Now, that's pretty amazing, right? I tell you what: it's no wonder Josiah was so popular with the people. Excuse me, I gotta say it: literally, he was the best king that ever lived! Not gonna happen again.
