Folks, c'mon, man! Have you heard the story of Jehoiada, the priest? Here's the deal. He was a real stand-up guy, literally. He arranged for the King of Judah, Joash, to be anointed at the temple and he organized the Levites in the service of the Lord. Then, no malarkey, the people of Judah started to give offerings to the Lord, and it was a beautiful sight.

My father used to say, "When the people give, the Lord gives back tenfold!" Well, that's exactly what happened. I'm not joking, Jack! Joash started to restore the temple, and it got even better. See here, Jack, the Levites organized a guard to watch over the temple, and the priests and Levites served in the Lord's service day and night.

But then, what was that? Some wicked folks came along and started to steal and break the things dedicated to the Lord. I tell you what, Jack, not gonna happen. Joash had the Levites and priests take back the stolen items, and they were restored and rededicated to the Lord. Excuse me, folks, but this is an important lesson. When we give, the Lord gives back!
