Alright, folks. Listen up, Jack. Here's the deal. 2 Chronicles 34. My father used to say it was a real humdinger. I mean, literally. This chapter is about King Josiah. Now, Josiah was a pretty decent guy. He was all about doing the right thing and making sure the people of Judah followed the Lord. C'mon, man! He had the Law of Moses read to the people and he made sure they kept it. No malarkey! He got rid of all the idols and altars that had been set up by his predecessors. He even redecorated the temple and got rid of all the junk that had been left there. See here, Jack. I'm not joking. Josiah was like, "This place needs a makeover!" and he got right to it. The people of Judah must have been cheering him on. What was that? I mean, they must have been so relieved to have a leader like Josiah.

Anyhow, Josiah also made sure his people were paying their taxes to the temple. No way around it. I tell you what. He didn't mess around. Even when the priests were like, "Uh, excuse me. We don't have enough money to pay for all this stuff," Josiah was like, "Not gonna happen. We're gonna get it done." And so they did.

In the end, Josiah was a true leader. He was someone who did the right thing and made sure his people followed the Lord. That's something we can all learn from today.
