Folks, here's the deal. 2 Chronicles 3 tells us that Solomon built the Lord's temple in Jerusalem, and I'm not joking. It took seven years to build, and it was a real doozy. See here, Jack, my father used to say that the temple was literally made out of the finest materials and was 90 feet long, 30 feet wide, and 45 feet high. That's a lot of height, or uh, you know, a lot of real estate. Not gonna happen now, I tell ya.

C'mon, man, the walls of the temple were made of cedar and overlaid with gold. I mean, can you imagine? The ceiling was also made of cedar and was supported by 45 beams. Forty-five! What was that? The Lord's courtyard was also made with walls of cedar and was 150 feet long and 75 feet wide.

But, excuse me, that's not all. Solomon also made two pillars that he called Jachin and Boaz, and he made them from bronze and gold. And the temple was then filled with furniture made of gold. Now that's something.

Listen, Jack, this was a real big deal. I mean, literally. Solomon made the Lord's temple as a place to worship and God was pleased with his work. No malarkey!
