Batman: Robin, what do we have in store for us today?
Robin: Well, Batman, today we are looking at 2 Chronicles 3. It tells us about the building of the temple of the Lord.
Batman: Ah yes, the temple. So, what happened?
Robin: Well, King Solomon began the building of the temple in Jerusalem in the fourth year of his reign. He chose the place for it on Mount Moriah, the same spot where his father, David, had offered sacrifices to the Lord.
Joker: What about the materials used to build the temple?
Robin: The temple was built with cedar wood, overlaid with gold, and decorated with carvings of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers.
Batman: Impressive! And what else happened?
Robin: The temple was also equipped with gold-covered furniture, including a table for the bread of the Presence, a lampstand, and an altar of incense.
Joker: And did they finish the temple?
Robin: Yes, they did! After seven years of hard work, the temple was finally finished. King Solomon and the people of Israel celebrated with a great feast.
Batman: That sounds like a great success!
