Batman: [narrating] In the 16th chapter of 2 Chronicles, we learn of King Asa's foolish mistake.
Robin: You mean when he relied on the King of Syria for help, rather than relying on God?
Batman: That's right, Robin. The King of Syria was not an ally of Judah, and yet Asa sought his help instead of turning to the Lord.
Joker: What happened?
Batman: The King of Syria tricked Asa into a false sense of security, lured him into a trap, and took away all of Judah's possessions, including the gold and silver.
Catwoman: But didn't Asa repent?
Batman: Yes, he did. When Asa saw that he had made a mistake, he humbled himself and sought the Lord's help, and the Lord answered his prayer.
Riddler: What happened then?
Batman: Then the Lord sent a prophet to warn Asa that if he continued to rely on foreign nations instead of relying on the Lord, he would be punished.
Penguin: So what did Asa do?
Batman: He heeded the warning and continued to rely on the Lord for the rest of his life.
