[Scene opens in the Griffin family living room. Lois, Peter, Meg and Chris are sitting together watching TV.]

Lois: Alright, it's time for another chapter of the Bible. It's Judges 9!

Peter: Oh boy, I love Judge Judy!

Chris: No, Dad, it's Judges in the Bible.

Peter: Oh right, right. So what's the story?

Lois: Well, it's about two men, Abimelech and Gaal, who were competing to be the leader of a certain town. Gaal and his men tried to take control of the town, but Abimelech and his men defeated them, and Abimelech became the leader.

Meg: But then Abimelech got a little power-hungry and tried to take control of all the towns in the area.

Chris: Sounds like a plot line from Game of Thrones!

Peter: Heh, yeah, I can see that. So, did he take control of the other towns?

Lois: Well, he did for a little while, but then God stepped in and sent an evil spirit to cause chaos and conflict between Abimelech and his people. Eventually, Abimelech was killed and the people of the town drove Gaal out.

Meg: Wow, so it's like a cautionary tale about the dangers of power and greed.

Chris: Yeah, and I guess it's a reminder that God is always watching and will step in when necessary.

Peter: Alright, I think I got it. So, did Abimelech get an honorary mention in the credits of Game of Thrones? [Chris and Meg groan.]
