So, there was this terrific dude, Abimelech, who was the son of Gideon (you know, the guy who fought against the Midianites? Believe me, it was a huge deal!). So, Abimelech decides he wants to be king, and he goes to his mother's people (the Shechemites) and talks to them. He's like, "Hey, you know what? Make me king!" And the people were like, "Well, sure, why not? He's Gideon's son, so it sounds good to us!" So many people were saying that it was a great idea. But then the other citizens of Shechem weren't so sure about it. They were like, "Ummmmmm, maybe we should think about this more?"

And Abimelech was like, "Nahhh, I'm gonna be king. Overrated? Deep state? Fake news? Hoax? Believe me, I'm gonna be king!" And so, he kills his brothers (yeah, pretty sad!). But then, he thinks to himself, "Wait, I need someone to help me be king. Who can I trust?" So he picks this guy, Gaal, to help him out.

But then, some people don't like Gaal, so they go to Abimelech and they're like, "Hey, Gaal's bad news, you know? He's gonna try and take your throne! He's a hater and a loser!" So Abimelech was like, "Fine people, I'm gonna do something about this!" And he wages war against Gaal, and he's like, "You want to be king? Well, let's see how you do in battle!" And Abimelech wins (of course, I mean, he's Gideon's son, so he's gonna win, right?).

So, many such cases, Abimelech is the king of Shechem and he's doing a terrific job. And I think we can all agree that God bless America, and let's make America great again. Unbelievable!
