1-15.

Peter: Alright, so, Proverbs 2:1-15. Alright, so it starts off with "My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding." So, it's like, wisdom is something you gotta work for, ya know? Like, it's not just gonna come to ya, you gotta put in effort.

Lois: That makes sense.

Brian: Yeah, you don't get to be like one of those 'smart' characters from The Big Bang Theory just by sitting around doin' nothing.

Peter: Right. So then it says, "Cry out for insight and understanding, and search for them as you would for hidden treasures."

Lois: Ah, so it's like a treasure hunt.

Brian: Yeah, you gotta go out there and look for wisdom like it's a smuggled Picasso or something.

Peter: Right. And then it says, "Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God." So, it's like, if you make the effort, you'll get to know God better.

Lois: That makes sense.

Brian: Yeah, it's like that old saying, "No pain, no gain," except, like, it's spiritual gain and not, ya know, a six-pack.
