Peter: Alright, so this Proverbs 16 thingy starts off with "The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord."

Lois: So, like, God's always got the last word?

Brian: It's like when Stan Lee used to write the last panel of the comic book.

Stewie: Don't you mean Jack Kirby?

Brian: No, I'm pretty sure it was Stan Lee.

Stewie: Ugh, please. Everyone knows it was Jack Kirby.

Peter: Moving on, it says, "All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit."

Lois: So, like, no matter how good you think you are, God knows the truth?

Brian: Yeah, it's like that time I thought I was really clever when I invented a way to make a martini out of ice cream and beer, but I was really just being terrible.

Stewie: Oh, I remember that. It was a disaster.

Peter: Then it says, "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established."

Lois: So, like, if you put your trust in God, good things will happen?

Brian: It's like that time I got to the front of the line at the club, and I thought I was going to get in, but then the bouncer said no.

Stewie: Yeah, but then you prayed to God, and the bouncer changed his mind. It was a miracle!
