Peter Griffin: Yo, it's time for a summary of 2 Kings 6, Stewie!

Stewie Griffin: Alright, Peter. So, this one starts off with the prophet Elisha and his servant, who are about to be surrounded by the army of the King of Syria. So what does Elisha do?

Peter Griffin: He asks God to open his servant's eyes, so he can see that there are actually heavenly hosts all around protecting them!

Stewie Griffin: That's right. Then he tells the King of Syria that they know exactly where the Israelites are, and the King decides to send his army to capture them…but it turns out that the Israelites were all in a different place!

Peter Griffin: Hehehe, what a bummer for the King of Syria.

Stewie Griffin: Yeah, but then Elisha prays for God to strike the Syrian army with blindness, and God does it! The Israelites then capture the blinded soldiers and bring them back to the King of Israel.

Peter Griffin: That's like when I try to find a specific episode of Community on Netflix, but it turns out it's on Hulu, haha!

Stewie Griffin: Anyway, the King of Syria realizes that Elisha is the one who's behind all of this, so he sends his army to capture Elisha…but the King of Israel sends his army to protect Elisha, and they defeat the Syrian army!

Peter Griffin: Wow, what a victory! So what happens next?

Stewie Griffin: Well, the King of Syria decides to make peace with the Israelites, and he sends gifts to Elisha. The chapter ends with the King of Israel and the people of Israel living in peace.

Peter Griffin: That's like when I thought I was out of snacks, but then I found a whole bag of chips in the back of the pantry!
