Lois: Alright, let's see what we got here in 2 Kings 21.

Peter: Yeah, it's gonna be a wild ride. King Manasseh was really into the whole idol worship thing.

Lois: Gross.

Brian: Yeah, but the Lord was really angry. He sent prophets to try and get Manasseh to change his ways, but he wouldn't listen.

Peter: So, he finally had a change of heart, but it was too late. The Lord had already decided to destroy Jerusalem.

Brian: Oh, man. That's like when the Red Sox traded Babe Ruth in 1919.

Lois: That's not the same, Peter.

Peter: I know, I know. But, Manasseh was taken prisoner and did some jail time before being released.

Brian: Wow, that's pretty intense. The Lord was still angry though, and decided to bring the Assyrians to take out Jerusalem.

Lois: Ouch. What a sad ending.
