Peter: Alright, so 2 Kings 16. Uh, let's see. So basically, King Ahaz of Judah goes to Damascus and meets with King Tiglath-Pileser of Syria. Oh Lois: Oh, like the Pileser from the movie "Caddyshack"! Peter: Yeah, like that. So Tiglath-Pileser tells Ahaz to stop worshipping the Lord and to start worshipping foreign gods. So Ahaz follows orders and he sets up altars to the foreign gods. But then God sends a prophet to warn Ahaz that if he continues on this path, God will punish him.

Brian: Uh, like what happened to King Kong when he climbed the Empire State Building?

Peter: Sure, yeah. So Ahaz isn't listening though and he keeps on worshipping the foreign gods. So God sends the Assyrians to attack Judah, and they conquer the city of Samaria.

Stewie: Oh, like what happened to the Death Star at the end of "Return of the Jedi"!

Peter: Yeah, just like that! So, uh, the Assyrians also take away many of the people of Judah, including Ahaz's son and daughter. And then Ahaz dies and his son Hezekiah becomes king.

Joe: Just like when Prince Charles became king after Queen Elizabeth's death.

Peter: Uh, sure, yeah. So that's the end of 2 Kings 16. Any questions?
