Peter Griffin: Alright, so this is 2 Kings 2. It starts off with Elijah going to be taken up to heaven in a whirlwind! (laughs) Like, he's like the opposite of The Wizard of Oz!

Lois Griffin: Peter, that's enough. So, Elijah and his disciple Elisha were walking together and Elijah said he was going to be taken up to heaven in a whirlwind. Elisha was really sad, so he asked if he could get a double portion of Elijah's spirit.

Brian Griffin: Yeah, and then Elijah said that if Elisha saw him being taken up to heaven, it would be granted. So, they kept walking and a chariot of fire and horses of fire came and separated the two of them.

Stewie Griffin: Then, Elijah was taken up to heaven in a whirlwind! Elisha was so sad, but he was also super determined to get that double portion of Elijah's spirit. He picked up Elijah's cloak and he struck the Jordan river and it parted!

Chris Griffin: So, then he crossed over and he went to Jericho and there was a group of prophets there. They told him that Elijah had been taken up to heaven and Elisha started to cry.

Meg Griffin: Elisha was really upset, so he asked them to give him a musician so he could be cheered up. They gave him a musician and Elisha was so happy he said he wanted to give a gift to the musician.

Peter Griffin: But then the musician was like, "Oh no, I'm good, I don't need any gifts." And Elisha was like, "No, I insist!" So he gave him a gift and then Elisha went on his way. (laughs) That's it, that's 2 Kings 2!
