Peter: Alright, so 2 Kings 24. This one is about a guy named Jehoiakim who refuses to pay tribute to a dude named Nebuchadnezzar, and is taken off to exile in Babylon.

Lois: That's bad news, Peter.

Joe: Yeah, but it gets worse. Nebuchadnezzar installs Jehoiakim's son, Jehoiachin, as the new king of Judah, but then he also has to skedaddle to Babylon.

Quagmire: That's too bad. He didn't even get to say goodbye to his friends.

Brian: Well, it's not all bad news. Nebuchadnezzar also installs Zedekiah, yet another son of Jehoiakim's, as the new king of Judah.

Stewie: Yeah, but then guess what? Zedekiah rebels against Nebuchadnezzar, and Babylon lays siege to Jerusalem.

Chris: Ouch. That's gotta hurt.

Meg: And then Babylon takes all of the treasures of the temple and the palace, and takes all of the important people away to Babylon too.

Peter: And then at the end of the chapter, Nebuchadnezzar destroys Jerusalem and the temple. Talk about a bummer ending. Someone get me a tall glass of Sunny D!
