Well, it’s been a wild ride for our friends in 2 Kings 24. It all started with King Jehoiakim, who became a vassal of the King of Babylon. But that didn’t last long, because after three years, the Babylonians took him away. Then the Babylonians put Jehoiachin, Jehoiakim’s son, in power. But he only lasted three months before the Babylonians took him away. So, enter King Zedekiah, who lasted eleven years before the Babylonians came and took him away as well. All in all, not a great time to be King of Judah.
