Folks, here's the deal. 2 Kings 24 is a wild one. It's the story of Jehoiachin, the King of Judah. He was one of those bad guys, c'mon man. He did terrible things like worshiping idols, and the Lord was not happy about it. So, literally, the Lord sent the Babylonians to attack Judah, and my father used to say "if you mess with the Lord, the Lord will mess with you". So, that's exactly what happened.

Anyways, the Babylonians captured Jehoiachin and took him as a prisoner to Babylon. Then, they looted the temple of Jerusalem and took away all of the treasures and so on and so forth. See here, Jack, the Babylonians didn't just take away the treasures, they took away all of the people too. That's right, they took all of the skilled workers, artisans, and craftsmen. Not gonna happen, that they'd leave any of them behind.

So, Jehoiachin was in Babylon for 37 years, and during that time, his uncle Zedekiah became the king of Judah. But, he also did a bunch of bad stuff, and eventually, the Babylonians conquered Jerusalem and brought an end to the kingdom of Judah.

I'm not joking, folks, that was the story of 2 Kings 24. What was that? Oh, and don't forget, no malarkey!
