Listen, Jack, here's the deal. I'm not joking, 2 Kings 7 is literally an amazing chapter. It starts off with a bunch of folks in the city of Samaria facing a famine, and they're so hungry they're talking about eating their own children -- c'mon, man! That's no malarkey.

So, the king of Israel sends out some of his men to make a deal with the Syrians, but on the way out, the men meet a prophet who tells them not to worry because God is gonna make it all better. Or uh, you know, he says the Syrians are gonna retreat and the famine is gonna end. And sure enough, that's exactly what happens.

My father used to say, "If you believe in miracles, you'll see miracles." And that's exactly what happens next. See here, Jack, four lepers who were left outside the city gates suddenly hear the Syrians retreating and they realize they're not gonna get eaten, so they start grabbing all the food they can get their hands on. What was that? A miracle!

Now, folks, I tell you what, this story isn't done. The news spreads like wildfire and the entire city starts to celebrate. You know, it's like the biggest party of all time. Excuse me, but it's so big that it even wakes up the king of Syria who was sleeping in the city and he flees in the middle of the night. Literally, everyone is so happy that their famine is over.

But here's the thing, I'm not gonna let you forget that this miracle happened. Not gonna happen. This is an amazing story of faith, hope and miracles. 2 Kings 7 is a reminder that God is always with us, no matter what.
