"C'mon, man, listen, Jack! Folks, I'm gonna tell you what happened back in 2 Kings 14. Here's the deal: there was this king, Amaziah. He was a good king, literally, my father used to say that Amaziah was a stand-up guy. I'm not joking. And so he goes to battle the Edomites, and he wins - no malarkey!

But then, see here, Jack, he decides to worship the same gods that the Edomites worshipped. Now, what was that about? Or uh, you know, why would he do that? Anyway, he does it, and God is not happy. So, God sends a prophet to tell Amaziah it's not gonna happen. And I'll tell you what, God strikes Amaziah down with a sickness.

And then, excuse me, after Amaziah dies, his son, Jeroboam, takes over. So, he decides to take back all the land that his father lost in battle. And he does it! He's successful in taking back all the land.

So, there it is, folks. That's what happened in 2 Kings 14. No joke. My father always said you gotta stand up for what's right, no matter what. He was a wise man. Literally."
