Peter: Alright, so 2 Kings 14. It starts off with Amaziah, king of Judah, who divides his army into two sections, one to go fight against the Edomites, and one to fight against the Ammonites.

Brian: Oh, like in the movie 300!

Stewie: [groaning] Yes, Brian, just like in the movie 300.

Peter: Anyways, Amaziah wins against the Edomites, but he's too prideful and decides to challenge the King of Israel, Jehoash. He loses and is forced to pay tribute to Jehoash.

Lois: That's not very nice.

Peter: No it's not. But then, Amaziah goes back to Jerusalem and takes down the idols in the city and re-establishes the worship of the Lord, so that's nice.

Joe: Amen to that!

Peter: Yeah. Then, Jehoash dies and his son, Jeroboam II, takes over as king of Israel. Jeroboam II is able to restore the borders of Israel back to what they were in the days of King Solomon, which is pretty cool.

Quagmire: [slurring] Yeah, like I always say, "Go big or go home!"

Peter: Right. And then, the chapter ends with the death of Amaziah.

Cleveland: That's a wrap!
