Listen, Jack, I'm not joking, here's the deal: 2 Kings 18 is about King Hezekiah, son of Ahaz, who was the king of Judah. Hezekiah was a god-fearing man and he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord. He removed all the idols and high places of worship that his father had built and he even destroyed the bronze serpent that Moses had made. He also reorganized the temple and sent a message out to the people that they must serve the Lord and keep his commandments.

Hezekiah was faced with a great challenge in 2 Kings 18 when the king of Assyria, Sennacherib, sent an army to surround Jerusalem. Sennacherib sent messengers to Hezekiah to try and make him surrender, but Hezekiah remained firm in his faith and trusted in the Lord. He prayed to the Lord for help and the Lord answered his prayers and destroyed the Assyrian army.

Hezekiah was so thankful for the Lord's help that he made a great celebration and praised the Lord for his victory. Hezekiah was also rewarded for his faithfulness by the Lord, and he extended the borders of his kingdom and made it even more powerful than before.

Folks, this is a great example of how faith and trust in the Lord can help us overcome any obstacle, even if it may seem impossible. My father used to say, "C'mon, man, if you trust in the Lord, then you can do anything!" And that's no malarkey, I'm telling you. So, see here, Jack, if you ever find yourself in a difficult situation, never forget that the Lord is with you and He will always help you if you trust in Him.
