Well, folks, this week on 2 Kings we got the story of the four lepers who were outside the city gate of Samaria during a famine. They were starving and desperate, so they decided to just go to the camp of the Syrians and hope for the best. Lo and behold, when they got there, it had been abandoned! So they went in and found all kinds of food and treasure just lying around. They also discovered that God had caused the Syrians to hear the sound of chariots and horses and flee in terror, leaving behind all their stuff. In the end, the lepers shared their good fortune with the king, who rewarded them for their loyalty. Ain't that something?
