Well, folks, 2 Kings 16 is the one you've been waiting for, and boy oh boy, it's a doozy. We've got a real king in this one: Ahaz, son of Jotham. So what's he been up to? Well, he ain't no saint, that's for sure! He does some pretty wicked things, such as sacrificing his son to a false god and even worse- he sets up a false altar in the Temple of God! But, hey, it doesn't end there. He also makes an alliance with Assyria and donates some of the Temple treasures to them. That's gotta be a big no-no, right? Well, it just gets worse. In the end, Ahaz dies and his son Hezekiah becomes king, and it's on to Chapter 17.
