Hey, folks, it's Norm MacDonald here with the summary for 2 Kings 23. So, Josiah, the King of Judah, found a book of the Law of the Lord in the temple and had it read aloud. He was so moved by it that he declared a covenant to follow the Lord and got rid of all the idols and high places in the land. He even tore down an altar to Baal and burned the bones of the priests who had sacrificed to him. Josiah also got rid of the Asherah poles and the mediums and spiritists and even the horses that the kings of Judah had dedicated to the sun. Good for ya, Josiah!
