Batman: Robin, this chapter of the Bible details the reforms of King Josiah of Judah.

Robin: Oh no, it's another villain up to no good!

Joker: Ha ha ha! Not this time, Boy Wonder! Josiah actually brought about a revival of true faith and righteousness in Judah.

Batman: That's right, Robin. Josiah removed all the places of idol-worship and re-instituted the Passover celebration. He even found the Book of the Law that had been lost for many years.

Robin: Wow! It's like he was the ultimate superhero!

Penguin: Not quite, my feathered friend. Josiah was a good king, but he was still a man and he made mistakes.

Batman: That's right, Penguin. He was too zealous in his reforms and ended up sacrificing to false gods in the name of righteousness.

Catwoman: But at least he tried, which is more than can be said for some of his successors.

Batman: Indeed, Catwoman. Josiah's reforms brought about a temporary revival of faith, but it was short-lived and the kingdom ultimately fell to the Babylonians.
