Batman: Robin, it looks like we have a case in the book of 2 Kings!

Robin: Who do we need to investigate, Batman?

Batman: Ahah! King Ahaziah is in trouble. He asked the prophets of Baal to help him, but they couldn't do anything for him.

Robin: That's strange! What did he do next?

Batman: He sent his messengers to another prophet, Elijah, to seek his help.

Robin: So did the prophet help him?

Batman: No. Elijah told the messengers to return and tell the king that he was going to die.

Robin: Wow, that's harsh! What happened next?

Batman: The king sent more messengers, but Elijah again told them to go back and tell Ahaziah that he was going to die.

Robin: Whoa! That's pretty serious. What did the king do then?

Batman: He sent a captain of fifty with the message, but Elijah again told the captain to go back and tell the king that he was going to die.

Robin: That's crazy! What happened next?

Batman: The captain begged Elijah to come with him, so Elijah agreed. When they arrived, Elijah told the king that because he had sought the prophets of Baal and not God, he had no right to live. So Ahaziah died, as Elijah had said.

Robin: That's a tragic ending! I'm glad we were able to get to the bottom of it, Batman.
