Peter: Alright, so Job 16. So Job's friends have been giving him a hard time and now he's had enough. He's like, "My grief is not soothed and you keep piling on the misery. I'm done with your lectures and your long-winded speeches. I'll tell you what's wrong with me - I'm in pain and I'm surrounded by bullies."
Lois: Wow, that's pretty harsh.
Brian: Yeah, but he's also saying that God's hand has been heavy on him, too. He's like, "God has pierced me with arrows and crushed me. He's made me a target for his friends to attack. He's pulled me out of the dark and exposed my deepest secrets."
Stewie: Yeah, yeah, yeah. But then he gets really meta and he's like, "My words have been used against me. My enemies use my own words to try to discredit me."
Peter: Huh, that's deep.
Joe: Yeah, and then he starts to get really poetic. He's like, "My friends are quiet now; they don't know what to say. The heavens are silent and I can hear the earth groan."
Cleveland: Oh, man. That's some real heart-wrenching stuff.
Quagmire: Yeah, and then he ends with this epic line. He's like, "Even the stars don't shine in my darkness. I'm surrounded by pain and suffering, and no one will help me."
Peter: Wow, that's... wow.
