Batman: Robin, I'm worried about our good friend David.

Robin: What happened, Batman?

Batman: It seems while he was away, the Amalekites raided the city of Ziklag and captured everything.

Robin: That's terrible! What did David do?

Batman: He and his men wept until they had no more strength. But then he called on the Lord for help and mustered all the men to go after the Amalekites.

Joker: Ha ha, I love a good chase!

Batman: The Lord gave them victory and they recovered all their possessions. David also divided up the spoils among the people and gave a portion to those who hadn't gone to battle.

Robin: That's very generous of him, Batman!

Batman: Indeed it is, Robin. We must all strive to be as generous and compassionate as David.
