Batman: Greetings, Robin. We have arrived in the book of 1 Samuel, chapter 15.

Robin: What do we find here, Batman?

Batman: Ah, yes, Robin. It is here that we learn of God's command to Saul, the first king of Israel.

Riddler: So what did God command Saul to do?

Batman: God commanded Saul to destroy the Amalekites and all of their possessions.

Catwoman: That's a bit harsh, don't you think?

Batman: I'm afraid not, Catwoman. Saul was instructed to completely wipe out the Amalekites.

Penguin: But what happened when Saul didn't follow God's command?

Batman: He was punished for his disobedience. God took away his kingship and gave it to another.
