C'mon, man! Here's the deal--literally, my father used to say--Exodus 11 is about the Lord telling Moses to prepare the people of Israel for the tenth plague. I'm not joking--the Lord says that all the firstborn of the Egyptians will die, but the firstborn of Israel will be spared. See here, Jack--the Lord tells the Israelites to take a lamb for each family and kill it, then to put the blood on the doorposts--what was that? Or uh, you know--not gonna happen--this will be a sign that the plague won't affect them. I tell you what, folks--Moses warns Pharaoh, but Pharaoh still refuses to let the people go. Excuse me--so the Lord brings the tenth plague, and the firstborn of all the Egyptians die overnight. No malarkey!
