Batman: (narrating) A new chapter begins in Deuteronomy, Robin!

Robin: What is it about, Batman?

Batman: It’s all about preparing for battle, Robin! The Israelites are to go forth fearlessly, trusting in the Lord, and the Lord will give them victory.

Catwoman: But of course, the Israelites must be careful not to be too frightened. They must not be driven away by fear of the enemy.

Riddler: Yes, indeed! And what if the enemy offers terms of peace?

Batman: Then the Israelites must accept it. But if the enemy doesn’t offer terms of peace, then the Israelites should go forth and fight.

Joker: Ah, but there is more, is there not?

Robin: Yes, Joker, there is more. The Israelites are to show mercy to those who are living in their cities, and they are to spare all the trees.

Catwoman: Oh, that’s so noble of them!

Riddler: That’s not all. They are to set apart the priests and Levites, because they are the ones who will be responsible for offering up the sacrifices to the Lord.

Batman: That’s right, Riddler! The Israelites must remember to put the Lord first and obey His commands. Then the Lord will give them victory!
