Listen up, troops! Deuteronomy 20 starts with God telling the Israelites that when they go to war, they should appoint priests to come before them and speak to them about their mission. The priests should remind them that they don't have to be afraid because God is with them. Then God tells the Israelites that if they find a city that they want to attack, they should offer it terms of peace. If the city agrees, they should be allowed to live in peace. But if the city refuses, they should attack it and take all its possessions. God also commands the Israelites not to be afraid of their enemies because he will provide them with victory. Lastly, God tells them that they should never be afraid of their enemies but to always remember that he is with them. So, troops, stay strong and remember that God is with you!
