• Chapter 1

    Alright, you maggots! Listen up! We're talkin' about Exodus 1! In this chapter, we learn about the Israelites, who had once been slaves in the land of Egypt. Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, had ordered that all their male babies be killed.

  • Chapter 2

    Listen up! In Exodus 2, a baby boy was born to a Hebrew family. His parents put him in a basket and floated him down the river to save him from the wicked Pharaoh who wanted to kill all the Hebrew baby boys.

  • Chapter 3

    Listen up, soldiers! This chapter is all about Moses. You know Moses, right? He's the one who came out of nowhere and led the Israelites out of Egypt. So, here's what happened: God appeared to Moses in the form of a burning bush and told him to go to Pharaoh and demand that he let the Israelites go.

  • Chapter 4

    Exodus 4! Listen up, you maggots! Moses was chillin' with God, and God told him to go to Egypt, but Moses was all like, "Uh, no thanks, God. Who am I to go?" So God was all like, "BRING ME SOME SIGNS!" So Moses was all like, "Uh, okay.

  • Chapter 5

    Attention! Exodus 5 is about the Israelites being enslaved by Pharaoh and Moses and Aaron trying to set them free. Pharaoh says no and makes them work harder, so Moses and Aaron go to God and ask him to help.

  • Chapter 6

    ATTENTION! Listen up! Exodus 6 is all about how God reveals Himself to the Israelites and commands Moses to lead them out of Egypt. God tells Moses that He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and that He has heard the cries of the Israelites.

  • Chapter 7

    LISTEN UP, YOU MAGGOTS! EXODUS 7. YA'LL BETTER PAY ATTENTION 'CAUSE THIS IS IMPORTANT. GOD TELLS MOSES THAT HE'S GONNA TURN MOSES' BROTHER AARON INTO A PROPHET, AND HE'S GONNA DO SOME MIGHTY MIRACLES. THEN GOD TELLS MOSES AND AARON TO TELL PHARAOH TO LET THE ISRAELITES GO.

  • Chapter 8

    "Listen up, maggots! In Exodus 8, Pharaoh's magicians were able to duplicate some of the plagues, but the frogs which were brought up from the Nile were too much for them. So Pharaoh begged Moses to ask God to take the frogs away.

  • Chapter 9

    "Listen up, recruits! Exodus 9 is about God's punishment of Pharaoh for refusing to free the Israelites. First, God sends a plague of locusts to consume all the crops. Then, He sends a plague of darkness over the entire land of Egypt.

  • Chapter 10

    "Listen up troops! This is EXODUS Chapter 10. Pharaoh has been stubborn and won't let the Israelites go, so God is sending a plague of locusts! They will be so thick, they will cover the entire land and eat up all the crops.

  • Chapter 11

    LISTEN UP MAGGOTS! EXODUS 11! The Lord said to Moses that He was gonna bring one more plague on Pharaoh and the Egyptians. That plague was gonna be the death of all the firstborn sons in Egypt. So Moses warned the Israelites that on the night of the plague, they should take a lamb or a goat, kill it, and put its blood on the doorposts and lintel of their houses so that the Lord would pass over them and not kill the firstborn.

  • Chapter 12

    "Listen up, recruits! This is Exodus 12, and it's all about The Passover. God's gonna take the Israelites out of Egypt, so the first thing He does is He tells the Israelites to take a lamb and kill it. That lamb's gonna represent their freedom.

  • Chapter 13

    EXODUS 13: Ok, listen up new recruits! In this chapter, God tells Moses to consecrate all the firstborn of both mankind and animals and set them apart for God. God also tells Moses to tell the people of Israel to observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread, eat unleavened bread for seven days, and not leave any of it until the seventh day.

  • Chapter 14

    Listen up, ya new recruits! In Exodus 14, the Lord tells Moses to tell the Israelites that He will fight for them and help them escape Pharaoh's army. He tells Moses to stretch out his hand over the sea and part the waters so the Israelites can pass through.

  • Chapter 15

    "Aye Aye, Listen Up! You better get your head in the Bible game in Exodus 15! The Israelites just crossed the Red Sea and they were singing praises to Yahweh. Yahweh is the one who put fear in the hearts of the Egyptians and allowed the Israelites to pass unharmed.

  • Chapter 16

    Listen up, recruits! This is Exodus 16! God's people were in the wilderness and they were hungry, so God told Moses to gather up some food. Moses did, and the people found out that God had given them manna, a special food that would come down from the sky each morning.

  • Chapter 17

    ATTENTION, SOLDIERS! LISTEN UP! Exodus 17- Moses and the Israelites are thirsty, so they complain to God! So God tells Moses to hit a rock with his staff and water comes out! The name for this place is Massah and Meribah, which means “testing” and “quarreling”.

  • Chapter 18

    Listen up, recruits! Exodus 18 is all about Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, and how he advises Moses on how to lead the Israelites. Jethro comes to visit Moses and brings with him Moses' wife and kids. Jethro is pleased to see how God is taking care of the Israelites and wants to help Moses.

  • Chapter 19

    Listen up, troops! Exodus 19 is all about God's covenant with the Israelites. He promises them a special relationship with Him if they obey His commands and worship Him alone. He gives them instructions for how to prepare for His arrival.

  • Chapter 20

    Attention! Exodus 20 is a list of rules! I'm gonna give it to you straight. God told Moses to tell you that you shall have no other gods besides him. No graven images or statues either. Don't take God's name in vain.

  • Chapter 21

    "Listen up, ya maggots! In Exodus 21, we learn that if you buy a Hebrew slave, you have to keep him for six years and then free him. And if he's married, you have to free his wife, too. If he doesn't wanna leave, then you gotta pierce his ear with an awl and he has to serve you for life.

  • Chapter 22

    "LISTEN UP, SOLDIERS! EXODUS 22 IS ALL ABOUT THE LAWS GOD GAVE MOSES TO KEEP THE PEOPLE IN LINE. IF YOU STEAL, BE PREPARED TO BE FINED DOUBLE; IF YOU LEND MONEY, DON'T CHARGE INTEREST; IF YOU BORROW AN ANIMAL, TAKE CARE OF IT; IF YOU FIND A STRAYED ANIMAL, RETURN IT TO ITS OWNER; IF YOU SACRIFICE AN ANIMAL, DON'T USE ITS BLOOD IN YOUR OFFERINGS; IF YOU HELP A STRANGER, DON'T MISLEAD THEM; IF YOU SLEEP WITH A VIRGIN, MARRY HER; IF YOU HARM OR KILL AN ANIMAL, YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT; AND IF YOU HARM OR KILL A PERSON, YOU'LL BE PUT TO DEATH.

  • Chapter 23

    ATTENTION, MAGGOTS! THIS IS THE BOOK OF EXODUS CHAPTER 23! LISTEN UP, OR YOU'LL BE DOING SQUATS TILL YOUR LEGS FALL OFF! YOU GOT THAT? YOU BETTER, 'CAUSE HERE WE GO! GOD FIRST TELLS YOU TO NOT SPREAD RUMORS.

  • Chapter 24

    ATTENTION RECRUITS! LISTEN UP! Exodus 24 is about the covenant God made with the Israelites. Moses and 70 elders of the Israelites go up the mountain and meet with God. God tells them all the laws they have to follow and they agree.

  • Chapter 25

    Listen up, maggots! In Exodus 25, God orders Moses to tell the Israelites to make offerings to him. They're to bring the finest materials and craft them into a sanctuary where he can dwell among them. They must build a sacred altar for burnt offerings, a table for the showbread, and a lampstand for the light.

  • Chapter 26

    Listen up, soldiers! In Exodus 26, God tells Moses how to build a tabernacle. He gives instructions for the curtains and the boards that will make up the walls, as well as the acacia wood and gold used to decorate it.

  • Chapter 27

    "Listen up recruits! Exodus 27 is all about the altar. That's right, you heard me - the altar! We gotta build it out of acacia wood and make it five cubits long and five cubits wide, with four horns on each corner.

  • Chapter 28

    Attention! Listen up! This is the book of Exodus, chapter 28! Moses is commanded to take Aaron and his sons, and make special garments for them, to be priests. These garments must be made with skill and with care, and they must be beautiful.

  • Chapter 29

    Listen up recruits! In Exodus 29 the Lord is commanding Moses to consecrate Aaron and his sons for the priesthood. Offerings must be made of a bull, two rams, unleavened bread, unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil.

  • Chapter 30

    ATTENTION! Listen up, maggots! This is EXODUS 30! Yahweh tells Moses to build an altar for burnt offering, a laver for washing, and anointing oil. Then, He says to collect a half-shekel from each of the men over 20, to use in the service of the sanctuary.

  • Chapter 31

    Listen up! This is Exodus chapter 31! It's all about God giving some special instructions to Moses. He's got a plan for the Israelites, and it's gonna require some special attention to detail. God is gonna give instructions for the construction of the Tabernacle and the materials to be used.

  • Chapter 32

    Listen up, maggots! This is Exodus 32! Moses was up on Mount Sinai receiving the Ten Commandments from God. Meanwhile, down on the ground, the Israelites were getting restless. They decided to build a golden calf and worship it instead of waiting for Moses to come down from the mountain.

  • Chapter 33

    Listen up, maggots! This is Exodus 33! God's gonna talk to Moses from a cloud, and He's gonna tell Moses to get His butt movin' and lead the Israelites out of Egypt. Moses is gonna get to the mountain, and God's gonna warn him to take his shoes off 'cause it's holy ground.

  • Chapter 34

    "Listen up, troops! This is Exodus 34, and it's about God's covenant with Moses. God tells Moses to go up Mt. Sinai and bring him the stone tablets with all the laws. He also tells him to take the Ark of the Covenant, which contains all the promises God made to his people.

  • Chapter 35

    Listen up! Exodus 35 is all about how Moses told the Israelites how to build the Tabernacle. He gave directions on how to make the furnishings and the materials they were to use. He also told them to take a special Sabbath day of rest.

  • Chapter 36

    "Listen up, Marines! Exodus 36 is all about Moses' instructions to the Israelites on how to build the Tabernacle. He tells them to gather materials and skilled craftsmen to construct it, as well as the various furniture and decorations that go in it.

  • Chapter 37

    "Listen up, maggots! Exodus 37 is about Bezalel, the craftsman. God gives him special skills and has him build the Ark of the Covenant and the Table of the Presence. He makes the lampstand, its base and its accessories, and the altar of incense and its accessories.

  • Chapter 38

    Ya'll listen up! Exodus 38 is about Bezalel and Oholiab getting material to build the Tabernacle. God told Moses to gather all the materials so Bezalel and Oholiab could make the Tabernacle. They gathered gold, silver, and bronze, blue, purple, and scarlet yarn, and fine linen, acacia wood, oil and spices, and precious stones.

  • Chapter 39

    Listen up, maggots! Exodus 39 is all about the making of the tabernacle. God gave Moses instructions to make everything exactly as He said. So Moses made the Ark of the Covenant, the table, and the lampstand, all exactly as God said.

  • Chapter 40

    Listen up, recruits! Let's talk about Exodus 40! This chapter tells us about the completion of the Tabernacle. God tells Moses to set up the Tabernacle and put the furniture in it. God also tells him to anoint the Tabernacle and all the furniture with oil, and to consecrate the priests for their service.
