Listen up, troops! Exodus 19 is all about God's covenant with the Israelites. He promises them a special relationship with Him if they obey His commands and worship Him alone. He gives them instructions for how to prepare for His arrival. The Israelites agree and God tells Moses to tell them to wash themselves and their clothing and to stay away from all other gods. When God arrives on Mount Sinai, the people tremble in awe and reverence. God tells Moses to tell the people to obey Him and keep His covenant. He also says that if they obey, they will be a special treasure to Him and a kingdom of priests. So, remember: wash, obey, and worship God alone, and you too can be part of the covenant!
